Scholar groups
Vaux le Vicomte's visit will give to the students an overall view of the seventheen century's history through :
- Louis XIV's century
- Vaux le Vicomte, the forerunner of Versailles
- The french society of the seventheen century with important artists such as Molière or La Fontaine.
- Nicolas Fouquet, man of finances and patron of arts.
- The great team who built Vaux and then Versailles: Le Vau, Le Brun and Le Nôtre.

Discover the Secrets of the Château Vaux le Vicomte welcomes scholar groups every days from March 19th to November 13th,2011, from Monday to friday, from 10am to 6pm. The Estate will be exceptionally closed on june 22nd.
In order to get the preferred prics below, the group should visit the chateau from 10am to 1pm. The afternoon will be spent in the gardens and carriage museum.
A mystery game booklet in english, will be given to all young visitors at the entrance of the chateau: learn and have fun!
For 2011, exceptional opening for scholar groups in march , please contact us.
Then normal opening from march 19th until november 13th.
